For more than 30 years, Zurich and Lucerne Festival have enjoyed a close partnership. In the meantime, the festival has become one of the world's most important classical music events and now ranks among the "Top Events of Switzerland".

«40min-Events» and «40min Open Air»
Since 2013, star soloists, academicians, ensembles and orchestras have given performances during the early evening as part of the Summer Festival's free series "40min". These performances provide insights into the festival program accompanied by presentations and discussions.
After its premiere in 2023, the format "40min Open Air" was once again a success this year with three 40-minute concerts on the Europaplatz. For all who were in front of the KKL Luzern, planned or by chance.
